In the tenth year of the apocalypse, the Ark system deletes all "substandard" emotions - the happiness of ten dollars, the "mom feels bad" at four in the morning, and the "this is brave" on the other end of the hotline.
Lin Jin is the only wanderer. He uses "excessive empathy" to tear open the consciousness space of others and look directly at the pain sealed by the system, at the cost of permanently losing his own memory. The executor Su Chi was ordered to hunt him down, but when he tore open the space, he discovered that there were 97 memory fragments of "Lin Shen" in his body.
When "healing" becomes violence, "missing the mark" becomes resistance. Instead of destroying the system, Lin Jin encoded 97 stories of failed cures into viruses and implanted Article 97 of the agreement:
Allow to feel uncomfortable. Allow mom to accompany you. Allowing this is brave.
The new order in the ruins is an ark that will ask you "How are you today? You don't have to say 'I'm fine'".
Purpose: When "healing" becomes the only criterion for measuring human nature, the pain that has not been cured becomes "redundant" that must be deleted. But the real salvation is not to delete the pain, but to allow it to exist - to allow yourself not to be worthy of the happiness of ten dollars, to allow you to still feel uncomfortable even after "Mom is with you", to allow you to still want to die after being called "brave".
This is not doomsday science fiction, but a reverse deconstruction of the "healing narrative" by patients with depression: symptoms are not defects, but weapons; failure to meet standards is not shame, but resistance; slowness is not laziness, but survival.
