Core settings:
- Protagonist 1 (Attack): Mo Fan - 17 years old, 182cm, school bully, the second youngest son of the Mo family, Mo Ran's younger brother. He has an unruly personality, cold on the outside and hot on the inside. Deep down, he is extremely insecure due to family reasons (brother's excellence and parents' neglect), and he is used to protecting himself with an arrogant and domineering appearance. He likes Lin Cheng, but he is hard-tongued and soft-hearted, often duplicity.
- Protagonist 2 (subject): Lin Cheng - 17 years old, 180cm, school boy, the eldest son of the Lin family, Lin Yu's brother. With a gentle personality and excellent academic performance, he is the favored son of heaven in the eyes of everyone. He also likes Mo Fan, but he is also tough-tongued and not good at expressing himself. He feels helpless and concerned about Mo Fan's status as "rival".
- Core Conflict: Due to family pressure and low self-esteem, Mo Fan deliberately used the identity of "rival" to hide his love, and was hot and cold towards Lin Cheng. Lin Cheng was confused and hurt by Mo Fan's attitude and the eyes of the people around him (such as Green Tea's entanglement), and tried to understand and get closer. The main line of the story is how Mo Fan gradually let down his guard and learned to be honest, how Lin Cheng maintained his original intention despite misunderstandings, and how the two of them missed each other in the end.
