In the ice and snow of Antarctica, a little penguin named Luo Ji was forcibly taken away from his hometown by the greedy explorer Lin Yang. He was secretly hidden in a research institute deep in the tropical rain forest, living a seemingly comfortable "greenhouse" life without freedom. However, the longing for his snowy hometown and the desire for freedom drove Luo Ji to take the opportunity to escape from the prison.
As soon as he stepped out of the institute, Luo Ji changed from a "polar creature" to a "tropical alien". Faced with the hot and humid air, turbulent rivers and natural enemies lurking in the dark, the life of this little black and white guy who can't fly or run hangs by a thread. Fortunately, he met the kind-hearted deer Remy and the bragging red-eyed tree frog Xiao Fulin. Three friends with very different personalities formed a unique "escape team". This is not only a geographical migration across thousands of miles, but also a spiritual adventure about courage, friendship and growth. Can Luo Ji break through the obstacles and return to the pure world of ice and snow? How will his friendship with Remy and Xiao Fulin change their destiny?
