On campus in the autumn of 2010, a lecture on traditional culture and modern design led to an unexpected encounter between Lu Xun, a graduate student in the Department of Architecture, and Su Wan, a girl from the Chinese Department. A lost old "Book of Songs" brings together two people with hidden worries in their hearts - he carries the uneasiness of childhood wandering and is obsessed with pursuing a stable warmth; she guards the slow time of restoring ancient books, hiding her unknown softness and tenacity. From the tacit companionship in the library, the youthful hand-holding on the cinnamon trail, to the time difference and pull in different places after graduation, to the alienation and temptation caused by family prejudice and past fetters, the love between the two has repeatedly passed between closeness and alienation over the past twelve years. When Lu Xun's studio undertook the expansion project of the Ancient Books Library, they reunited after a long separation and finally had the opportunity to resolve their misunderstandings and regain their deepest feelings. Old pens, notebooks with short poems, and unfinished design drawings connect their concerns across the years, hiding a long journey about love, waiting, and destiny.
