Lin Shu is just a laid-off former risk control analyst who makes a living by observing details and inferring the behavior of others. Overnight, he changed from an ordinary person struggling to survive to a "prophet" in the eyes of all forces. Everyone wants to pry out a certain future from him: the superstitious power faction wants to use him to control people's hearts, the rational manipulation faction wants to expose him but dare not deny it completely, and the gray organizations classify him as a "high-risk resource" for surveillance and utilization. Lin Shu had to use extreme rationality to deduce every "prophecy". Every time he was accurate, his cage became stronger; every time he was wrong, he might be doomed.
The only person beside him is Cheng Wen - the woman who knew that he was not a god at all, but still chose to use him. She said: "I don't believe in fate, but I believe you are more dangerous than life."
When the real "unpredictable" appears, and when all deduction methods fail, Lin Shu faces the final choice: continue to be a prisoner enshrined on the altar, or destroy everyone's illusion of "certainty" with his own hands?

Purpose: Through the perspective of an ordinary person who is forced to become a "prophet", it explores people's blind pursuit of certainty, how power uses faith to control people's hearts, and how rationality survives in irrational fanaticism. Expressing "True freedom is not to predict the future, but to accept the unpredictability of the future."
