An elegy of gold and stone watered with blood and tears and calcined by the fire of war. An epic song about "orientation" whispered on the ruins
It not only tells the fate of two people, but also melts morbid attachment and the conflicts of the times into a broken bronze mirror - what is reflected in the mirror is:
A silent Big Dipper (Zhendao) - it is supposed to guide the direction, but it is willing to fall into a person's shadow, completing a slow, almost self-destructive martyrdom in the protection.
A forcibly twisted sunflower (Xukui) - born to chase light, but trapped in high walls, wars and prisons all its life, was eventually broken by its roots in the process of heading towards the only source of light (Zhendao).
The most poignant thing is: those things that the war failed to destroy, the separation that could not be diluted, and the times that could not be erased ultimately became testimonies that were tougher than tragedy. And when Zhendao Zaiyu's life became a "sunflower slope", what he planted was no longer flowers, but the tomb of memories and unfinished ambitions of an era.
In the end, what this story leaves behind is not despair, but an extremely cruel tenderness: when all grand promises collapse, the almost paranoid "orientation" between two small individuals becomes the only real source of light in a deserted world.
Intention: Sunflowers seek the light in the world, but eventually become frost on each other's graves
