This article tells the youth story of the heroine and Shen Yu, a transfer student from Guangzhou, from a first-person perspective. After they met on the first day of school, Shen Yu expressed his feelings to the heroine in a gentle and persistent way, such as giving guitars and meat, playing and singing songs, and silently protecting her. However, the ignorant heroine never understood it, and the relationship between the two became estranged due to her own reasons. After Shen Yu transferred to another school, someone sent him "Old Dreams 1913" with a postcard, but the heroine put it away. It was only six years later that she understood the metaphor of "You can't wait for a rain in three years of the Republic of China" and the deep feeling of "It doesn't matter if you don't like it, you want to be safe" in the book.
Purpose: To explore the emotional miss caused by the ignorance of youth, and to show how the slowness and cowardice in youth can let down precious hearts, leaving irreparable regrets.
