Lin Xubai is the person who always stands in the light on campus - the arc of the three-point ball across the sky, the position at the top of the scoreboard, and the naturally focused gazes of the crowd. He was used to being watched, just like he was used to the chirping of cicadas in summer.
Until I discovered those moments when I was alone in Chen Jin's camera: the silhouette turning pages in the morning light of the library, stopping among the fallen leaves on the ginkgo path, and the track of sweat falling on the court.
