The Red Mansion wears books! No OOC⚠️
Dear readers:
Hello.
I am probably one of those severe patients with "Red Mansions Disease" - when I was a child, I would steal "A Dream of Red Mansions" from my mother's bookcase and wet the pillow with tears over Daiyu's funeral. When I grew up, every time I read the paragraph about Xiangling learning poetry, it was obviously a rare light in her life, but when I thought about her subsequent fate, I always felt like something was stuck in my heart.
Hence this book. To put it bluntly, it is a kind of selfishness that arises from "uneasy feelings".
I always wonder: if Daiyu is not alone in the Xiaoxiang Pavilion coughing up blood, if she has the opportunity to use her exquisite heart in a broader place; if Xiangling can meet someone who gently pulls her in when she is still Yinglian... What would happen?
So, I put a modern soul into the body of six-year-old Daiyu.
Her name is Chen Yanshu, an "outsider" who is more familiar with the script of Red Mansions than we are. When she opened her eyes, she realized that she had become the sister Lin who "has more heart than body, and is as sick as Xizi." Her first reaction was not to recite poems, but to frantically refresh the screen in her mind: "Health value warning! Countdown to economic independence! Xiangling rescue plan is launched!"
So you will find:
Daiyu, who should have been crying, began to secretly do stretching exercises in the Xiaoxiang Pavilion (euphemistically called "Jiangnan Health Technique").
That innocent and talented woman began to think about how to turn the poetry club into a "cultural industry chain."
And the first whisper she said to Xiang Ling was: "Don't be afraid, from today on, I will teach you to write. You shouldn't be called 'Ling', you should have a name in poetry."
In this book, you will see how Daiyu used modern thinking to influence her destiny little by little, how she worked hard to play the role of "Sister Lin" to avoid ruining her character, while she complained crazily in her heart; how she turned the Grand View Garden into her "strategic experimental field", and how she carefully managed to warm up those endings that should have been cold.
This is not subversion, but more like a gentle "tampering". I want to give them another possibility - it doesn't have to hurt so much, and it doesn't have to die so early.
If you are like me and have a little sympathy and unwillingness for the daughters of the Red Mansion, then please follow Yan Shu (Dai Yu) into this familiar garden. Let's see if the spring breeze will blow longer and the flowers will bloom warmer this time.
Hope you guys enjoy this story.
Sincerely, a reluctant Red Mansion reader
