When the notice of exceptional admission from CAFA came, Lin Xiaoye thought his senior year of high school hell was over early. Unexpectedly, the class teacher slapped the admission notice on the podium: "Just in time, you will be the class president from today on." From then on, this prospective college student who was supposed to be the most laid-back became the "Post-It Boy" in the class who was always on call.
One morning when he stayed up late to help the teacher organize files, he overheard the conversation of the head teacher next door: "The hearing-impaired student Jiang Mo needs a candidate to take notes..." Lin Xiaoye almost rushed to seize this opportunity - to serve as a "human voice recorder" for the top students, it was better than being ordered around by the whole class.
When he opened Jiang Mo's notebook, he found something even more astonishing than the class notes: a dense draft of a science fiction story in the footer, telling the legend of an astronaut who lost his voice and used Morse code to communicate with extraterrestrial civilizations in space. What's even more shocking is that there are a lot of blank spaces next to these words, as if waiting for something...
"You can draw comics, right?" Jiang Mo suddenly pushed over a note, "Can you draw my universe...?" Lin Xiaoye then understood that those blank spaces were reserved for his brush. Two teenagers were squeezed by reality, one lost his voice and the other was deprived of creative time, but they discovered a broader world in the collision with each other. When the class teacher yelled, "Where's the class diary?" Lin Xiaoye straightened his back for the first time: "Sorry, I'm drawing a comic about a space aphasia - compared with the chores you gave me, this is the really important thing."
