The winter snow in the north has been falling for seven years. Every New Year's Eve, Shu Wang wears an old camel coat and holds half a rabbit candy painting at the bottom of the clock tower in the old city. On New Year's Eve seven years ago, the sky was filled with snow. The young man Jiang Yixun dragged him through the streets and promised to take him to see the sea in the south when the bell rang. However, he turned around and rushed to the border to perform a mission of narrow escape. Every winter thereafter, an unsigned letter would be sent to the post office next to the clock tower, simply saying, "This year's snow will be as heavy as that year's." In the seventh year, the envelope he received had no letter paper, only a rusty medal and half of an identical candy bunny painting. When the New Year's bell rang again and fireworks filled the sky, he put two pieces of candy painting together and said "Happy New Year" to the wind and snow. The sound of the wind seemed to be a "goodbye" seven years late.
