In the bustling city "Haichuan City", four urbanites with different backgrounds intersected due to an unexpected power outage in a high-end community. On the surface, it is a brief mutual aid between neighbors, but in fact it involves multiple clues such as professional competition, emotional betrayal, and family secrets. In the end, under huge social pressure, everyone has to face their truest desires and fears.
Purpose: Through an urban fable in the near future, we explore the "self-performance" performed by individuals in order to achieve belonging and success in a highly systematic, efficiency-oriented society, as well as the possibility of this kind of performance eroding and liberating human nature.
