Synopsis
Marla lived in a church orphanage for fifteen years, and the only thing she learned was: not to expect anything from anyone. She did not pray, did not repent, and did not believe that the stones standing in the shrine could reach out to save people. There are twelve statues of gods enshrined in the church - the first eleven have names and surnames, and control everything in the world; the twelfth statue has its face deliberately erased, holding only a scale in its hand, with a nameless base. The priest never explains who he is. The nun's eyes never fell on Him when she prayed. It's like He doesn't exist. But Mara would take a second look at Him every time she passed by. That day she touched a pure gold balance on the old bookshelf in the collection room. The blue crystal glowed faintly under the dust, and the base was engraved with a line of words that had been polished to the point of being barely legible. Without thinking much, she wiped it clean, put it back in its place, and covered it with a white cloth. That night she had a dream. There is a scale hanging above the black water, and a man with white hair sits on the top of the scale. His long hair hangs down to the water and is not wet. He never looked back. That's not a dream. He appeared in her life, lazily and casually, leaning close to her ear and asking "Do you want magic?" His tone was like talking about the weather. He calls himself "The Seven" - the Scales of Judgment, the Twelfth God who was wiped out. He said that he could give her a completely different way of life, and the price was: prove her worth to Him within a month. Mara originally just wanted to use him. Use this scale and the unknown indulgence in those pale blue eyes to accomplish something she should have done a long time ago - make that beast in a priest's robe pay the price. She did it. The white light bursting from the depths of the church shredded the stained-glass windows, and the scales of judgment crushed the man's cross and the lies that had sustained this church for hundreds of years. She thought that was the end of the deal. She was wrong. On the way from the church to Ford City, the Golden Ship, there are deserts, illusions, the River Styx, and doors - an ancient god set up a game of nine deaths, asking her to piece together the pieces of the forgotten. She passed through the fangs of Apophis, snatched back the beating heart from the evil god Seth, and then placed her soul and the hearts of the seven on the two ends of the scale in front of the gate of the underworld. The scales are even. The existence that had been submerged in the black water for ten thousand years was fished out by her with her own hands. She didn't know what words to use to define their relationship. But in the last few seconds before she cut her wrists and counted down, there was only one thought left in her mind - she couldn't let Him wait. The orphan girl in the orphanage and the fallen god whose name was erased. She does not believe in any gods in the world, but she crowns her own gods with her own hands. And He stepped down from the throne and lifted her up from hell. A story about "forgotten". When a world tries its best to erase you, someone will try their best to write you back. Purpose:- Meaning of existence - fair discussion - Survival from desperate situation - Live towards death
