"The Star Code" tells the story of the reunion of Lu Jin, a former federal star map surveyor, and Ling Che, a star orbit executive, in the Orion "Rust Belt" sector in 2742 AD. Three years ago, Lu Jin was listed as a "threat" by the federation for discovering the forbidden star map. His left eye was destroyed and he became a scavenger. However, Ling Che, who signed the "cleaning agreement" with his own hands, found him at this time with an encrypted message - "The star skeleton is awakening, and the coordinates are swallowing reality."
The two former enemies were forced to go together, trying to uncover the truth hidden by the Federation: those star map coordinates judged as "wrong data" were actually "star skeletons" that could swallow reality, and the changes in the Rust Belt were just the beginning of the disaster. Lu Jin's mechanical prosthetic eye hides half of the key star map, while Ling Che's ice-blue eyes hide unknown difficulties. When the star skeleton expands and pursuers press on, and the hatred of the past intertwines with the crisis at hand, they must find the possibility of trust in the truth that subverts the galaxy, and prevent reality from being completely swallowed by the coordinates. The story combines hard-core science fiction settings such as ancient astronomical civilization and reality distortion, focusing on the conflict and bond between the two male protagonists in a desperate situation.
Purpose: Truth and redemption, at the edge of the star skeleton
