Through the story of the growth of two rural girls in Shandong in the 1980s and 1990s, Wang Yingjun and Liu Jinmai, from friendship to family affection. They also inspired the weak and the poor when they were young. They agreed to build their hometown together in middle school. After college, Wang Yingjun died of illness and left a message telling Liu Jinmai not to Liu Jinmai returned to his hometown to develop, and then later, under the enlightenment of Wang Yingjun's daughter, Liu Jinmai regained his fighting spirit to return to his hometown and developed a series of tangled ideological changes, thus inspiring people with lofty ideals who had gone out from the countryside to reach a consensus and strive to build our beautiful hometown.
