"Qingfeng"
In the last years of the Shuo Kingdom, the cavalry from the north moved south.
Shen Qingfeng, an orphan from a poor family, entered the "Wenhua Palace" as a low-class scribe at the age of nineteen.
There is no golden finger, only a wolf hair.
He copied laws and orders and secretly recorded military records; he settled accounts for eunuchs in exchange for opening the arsenal at night; he wrote letters for school captains in exchange for three days of military rations.
In seven years, he accumulated merits and went to the seventh level of "Longling Pass" to record events. He first mentioned "raising troops with water canals" and trained five hundred dead soldiers.
After the pass was broken, the general fled. Qingfeng led his dead men to attack the enemy camp at night, burned thirty carts of food, and was awarded the title of "Captain of Beiting" in the first battle.
In ten years, he promoted the "General Zhenbei", controlled the three states, created the "Qingwu Army", used agriculture to support war, and used war to protect the people.
When the enemy invaded again, he stood in formation with his back against the water, riding on his iron cavalry. However, on the night of victory, he left a seal of words, and his horse went into the snowfield, never to be heard again.
History books only record:
"The snow stopped, and all I could see was the half-rolled green flag, with the tip of the spear pointing toward the sky."
Is the general alive or dead?
Why doesn't the flag fall?
I leave it to posterity to guess.
Purpose: The counterattack of a poor family using both "pen" and "sword" reflects the resonance of personal struggle and the destiny of the country - a hero can stir up troubles, or choose to remain silent, leaving the question mark of "where is success?" To future generations, making "Qingfeng" a mirror for each generation to question themselves.
