Synopsis
"We play the prelude at the end of the world. May this echo of destruction awaken a glimmer of dawn." That day, the sky shattered, and the echoes of alien stars turned the earth into a huge arena. A mandatory unlimited live broadcast has become the Sword of Damocles hanging over the head of every human being over the age of 18. Enter, or die instantly. Here, fear is the ratings, struggle is the entertainment show, and death is the final curtain call. The only reward for completing the game is not wealth and power, but the slim hope that human civilization can survive. On this ruins fed by despair, seven "Echoers" chosen by fate emerged. They possess powers that are homologous and heterogeneous with this disaster, and they are the last bet placed by the will of the world. They are chess pieces and chess players. Their goal is to reach the core of the infinite flow space and destroy the beating source of disaster called the "Heart of Finality". However, this road to redemption is full of thorns and lies. Each copy is a carefully designed trap that not only devours lives, but also erodes humanity. The bond between them is the warmest light in the darkness, but it may also be the most fatal weakness. The most suffocating thing is that global live broadcast footage is everywhere, and every decision and every sacrifice they make becomes a grand carnival or a cold trial on the screen of the survivors. But the real horror is far more than that. When they finally stood in front of the "Heart of Finality" after going through all the hardships, what they heard was not the trumpet of victory, but a cold whisper: "Welcome home. Do you know that destroying me means annihilating all the souls of mankind in the past, present, and future that have 'died' in the copy - the last 'echo' of billions of people?" To survive or not to survive? Is saving a broken world worth the complete destruction of billions of souls? When salvation itself becomes a more profound destruction, is this tragic expedition a redemption or a more grand sacrifice? In this final stage, they fight for the world, but the world responds with silence. Only their intertwined fates became the last and loudest echo in this torrent of destruction. "The prologue unfolds... In the end... Who is the real... Pretender" Purpose: This book aims to explore: When the act of salvation itself becomes the prelude to a greater destruction, can the purity of individual emotions still give meaning to the struggle? We tried to describe how the trust and bond formed by a group of young people in despair were placed on both ends of the balance between "salvation" and "sacrifice" for cruel torture. The story is not only about fighting against the external infinite flow space, but also an inward spiritual crusade - it questions the mission given, reflects on the vanity of hope, and finally asks: in a fate destined to be reduced to a chess game, whether the "love" originating from the heart, perhaps in vain, is the last and loudest echo against nothingness.
