Love letter to self
Shen Yan, a senior high school student, was forced to collapse by academic pressure and the shackles of family ties. During the darkest night of self-study, the young man "Yan" in a white shirt came with the fragrance of mint and became his only salvation and love. They answered questions next to the empty seats, listened to music on separate headphones, and shared their thoughts on the way to school. This secret two-way love was the glimmer of Shen Yan's fight against the world.
But his parents' confusion pushed him into a mental hospital. Electric shock, hypnosis, and drug treatment were tried to eradicate this "delusion", and Yan's figure gradually became transparent. When surveillance revealed the truth that "Yan is another self", Shen Yan realized that this love was just a redemption love letter to herself. After a tender farewell at the seaside, he returned to his original point after being clinically cured. A cup of bitter black coffee pulled him back into the cycle of pressure and expectation - was that self-salvation the end or the beginning of another one?
This is a story about narcissus love, shackles of reality and self-reconciliation, hiding the loneliness and longing that everyone has experienced in a high-pressure environment.
Purpose: Under the shackles of high-pressure education and family affection, through self-divided narcissus love, it writes about teenagers' desire for understanding and struggle for self-salvation, and reflects on the oppression of the spirit by utilitarian discipline.
