Anti-narcotics policeman Lu Zheng and forensic doctor Shen Yanqing have been together in a border town for five years. Their love is hidden in the looks at each other on both sides of the cordon and the hurried instructions between tasks. In the extra story, the dying Shen Yanqing was rescued, but when he was dying, he saw the "resurrected" Lu Zheng, and finally learned the cruel truth: the person in front of him was Lu Zheng's twin brother Lu Yu, who died young, and he was only Lu Zheng's substitute for his longing for his brother. This obsession and love that spanned life and death ended in extreme despair. The wind beside the Lancang River will always remember the tragedy and regret of these unmarked people.
