Tong Chao seems to have been fighting an invisible fate with all his rebellion.
That fate first appeared in the deepest part of the school library, in the almost forgotten corner filled with dusty books.
"You... Skipped class?"
Tong Chao lowered his voice, his breath still a little unsteady, but the familiar and unruly tone came out again.
Han Xi ignored the teasing in his tone and didn't even look away from the page. She replied calmly: "Physical education class."
"Isn't that just skipping class?"
"I'm sick and can't go to physical education class."
