"Half Life Record, Book at This Moment" is a non-fiction novel based on "my" personal experience. The story unfolds from the starting point of "I"'s memory when I was more than one year old - the hot concrete floor, the black mud embedded in the nails, and the trouser legs that were always too short. As a left-behind child left behind by his parents in the countryside, "I" grew up dependent on my innocent and ignorant cousin Leilei in the home of my paternal grandparents. Through delicate fragments such as the "Egg Incident" and "Grandma's Sweet Milk", the work profoundly outlines how a girl uses the innocence of a child to perceive indifference in a deprived and biased environment, and how she lights up the inner glimmer of light in the short-term warmth brought by her grandmother. The work aims to go beyond mere emotional accusations, reach understanding and reconciliation with the past, and ultimately reveal: true growth begins with bravely staring at scars, and firmly writing every chapter of the future with your true self.
