Five years ago, on a rainy night in the senior year of high school, top student Shen Qichi handed a sketchbook of "Starry Sky" to student Lin Zhaotang: "Here, it is wider than outside the wall." From then on, two souls in different predicaments approached each other. Shen Qichi, on the other hand, worked hard in a foreign country, wrote 1,824 letters that could not be sent, and eventually grew into a curator who could take charge of his own life.
We met again at Lin Zhaotang's solo exhibition "Chasing the Light". She didn't have the courage to step forward and could only choose to escape. But Shen Qichi, just like before, with a sketchbook and a heart full of undying love, cautiously approached again and softly prayed: "Don't want me."
Five years, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-five days and nights, two hundred and sixty-one "ten weeks" cycle.
This time, they are no longer young students, but independent individuals who can stand side by side as equals.
The promise of "see you in the tenth week" finally received the most affectionate response at the end of time.
