In the autumn when I was five years old, beside the bluestone road filled with the fragrance of cinnamon, a blue glass marble made me bond with my new neighbor Shiyu, and the old osmanthus tree became a secret base shared by the two of them. After getting busy with schoolwork, the sweet-scented osmanthus cakes on the branches and the small notes under the wind chimes have become a connection between each other's thoughts that need not be said. The twisted little figures, the edges painted with light blue, and the immature nursery rhymes, the branches and leaves of the osmanthus tree and the warmth of the notes together freeze the sweetest look of childhood. Until the news of moving broke the tranquility, a bag of sweet-scented osmanthus cake, a box full of notes and a reluctant farewell turned this time into a honey-soaked memory. Many years later, the fragrance of cinnamon comes back again, and those childhood promises hidden under the roots of the tree and in the notes are still sweet.
Intention: Use the old osmanthus tree as the emotional carrier to interpret the purity and tenacity of childhood friendship. Even if we part, the original intention and promise are still as strong as ever.
