In the third month after the divorce, I opened a hypnosis studio under the "support" of my best friend Sasha. I wanted to make a living by dissecting other people's subconscious minds, but instead I ran into 8 lives that were crazier than ghost stories:
A performer who sees a "ghost" hides the pain of childbirth and the guilt of the deceased; an elite man with insomnia, whose dreams are full of reenactments of his childhood betrayed by his wife; a school-weary girl who steals and kills a cat, hides under the knife the scars of her family that were branded during fetal period...
Each case is a layered maze: the wife of a domestic abuser regards opening and closing the door as a "symptom", the "victim" of campus bullying is actually the shadow of the perpetrator, the nightmare of a sex-addicted young woman, and the reincarnation curse of the family's secret history. I use hypnosis to peel back the folds of their consciousness, but always at some moment, I encounter fragments of domestic violence in my own family of origin, and the compromise posture in marriage - it turns out that I am treating others and looking after myself.
Every wound is connected to the exit of the soul.
So while we were dismantling the visitor's wounds, we were looking for the entrance to each other's souls.
Shasha and I each have the scars of our original families, and we grow with each other. This is not a one-way healing, but each of us holds our own fragments, and in the Rashomon of human nature, we work together to sew the "wounds" into an outlet to the sun.
And the secrets behind those cases have long been entangled with my past - what solves them also solves mine.
I dedicate this document to women who are struggling with their identity as women.
Mission: Women help each other and heal in both directions
