Synopsis
Shen Ling was originally a descendant of Zhongliang, and her father Shen Qinghe was once a bachelor of the Hanlin Academy who was highly relied upon by the late emperor. However, because he drafted the "New Deal Memorial", he offended his relatives and powerful people, and was framed and convicted of "having an affair with the deposed prince". She was lucky enough to be replaced by an old servant, and she asked herself to be freed from slavery. In order to find out the truth about the injustice done to her family, she concealed her name and sneaked into the Rong'an Hou Mansion as a maid, using the pseudonym Aling. During his lifetime, his father often said that the eldest son of the Jin family was gentle and upright, and was his most trustworthy descendant. Now that the Shen family has been wronged and the whole family is in ruins, the prince may be hiding clues that can reverse the case. So she must find a way to get close to him and find that glimmer of hope. "Wow--" Suddenly, there was a crisp sound of broken porcelain behind me. The sound came from Tingyuxuan on the west side. It was the side courtyard of the mansion where guests were entertained. Ordinary cleaning maids were not even qualified to get close. I heard that when the prince occasionally catches the cold, he likes to go to the Tingyu Pavilion on the west side to rest. That remote courtyard is secluded. Could this sound be the source of the prince? While he was stunned, a very light sneer came from inside the pavilion, with a chill like ice: "Come in." Shen Ling's legs went weak and she almost knelt on the wet steps. She pushed the door open, and a strong smell of blood hit her face, mixed with the faint fragrance of ink, which was so strange that it made her heart palpitate. The floor was covered with a fine Persian carpet, but at this moment half a cup of tea was poured on it, and broken white porcelain pieces were scattered among them, one of which was stained with dark red blood. After Shen Ling took a few steps forward, she looked down and saw mottled blood stains spreading from her feet, streaking across the ground intermittently, and finally disappearing behind the screen. "Slave, slave Aling, please see the prince." She lowered her head, her voice trembled, but her eyes quickly scanned the surroundings. The man didn't speak, but his eyes fell on her, as if he was looking at something. The cold sweat on Shen Ling's back instantly soaked her coarse clothes. She knew that at times like this, silence is often more terrifying than rebuke. She recalled the rules taught by her mother when she first entered the house: when the master is angry, either pretend to be deaf or dumb, or find something real to do, and never try to defend. Shen Ling's eyes fell on the broken porcelain pieces on the ground, and she had an idea. She took a few steps on her knees and carefully reached out to pick up the fragments. Her voice became softer, with just the right amount of cowardice: "Your Majesty, the ground is cold, and the broken porcelain pricks your feet, slave..." Just as his fingers touched a piece of porcelain, his wrist was suddenly grabbed. The force was extremely strong, like iron pliers, almost crushing her bones. Shen Ling groaned in pain and looked up into a pair of bottomless eyes. There was violence and ridicule in it, as well as a trace of imperceptible inquiry. "The Crown Prince?" The man raised his eyebrows, and his voice was extremely long, with a playful tone like a cat and mouse, "Who told you that I am the Crown Prince?" Shen Ling's mind buzzed and went blank. Not the prince? Who is that... Shen Ling originally planned to get close to the gentle and sick prince, but she first provoked the crazy third son Jin Chengze who had just returned home. The man's eyes were icy and his methods were ruthless. When she was attacking the Crown Prince, she was also attacking him unconsciously. From making things difficult and testing to secretly protecting him, Jin Chengze's paranoid protection gradually became apparent; Shen Ling also evaded from fear, and gradually fell in love with him. Shen Ling, armed with her only skill of observing words and colors, struggled to survive in the undercurrent of the Hou Mansion. Soon, he didn't realize that his heart had already fluctuated and was leaning towards someone. Early stage. Jin Chengze pinched Awan's chin hard and said in a cold voice: "You don't even know what you are. A lowly servant dares to play tricks in front of me." Later. Jin Chengze grabbed Shen Ling's hand with a firm look in his eyes: "I, Jin Chengze, will never marry except you, Aling, in this life." Purpose: Protect the homeland and the country
