The story begins in school. Cuisui fell into self-isolation due to the indifference of his native family and campus bullying, until the bright and cheerful Qin Suijin broke into his life - from being an unexpected roommate during military training, to accompanying each other in class, to jointly resisting family opposition after the college entrance examination, and firmly choosing the same university. The two healed each other in their youthful years, gradually confirmed each other's feelings, and made a promise to "ride the wind together forever" under the sunset at the seaside.
But all this was a false beginning, and everything was created by Qin Suijin from Cuisui's false spiritual world. Qin Suijin did all this just to slowly guide Cuisui and satisfy a certain request.
Qin Suijin used the power of mysterious dimensions to create two different worlds intertwined with reality and fantasy at all costs, with the goal of "casting Cuisui's four characters (love, hate, emptiness, and wisdom)" to guide Cuisui to face the pain of the past and accept himself in countless reincarnations and dreams. In the process, Cuisui not only has to unravel the past knots of campus bullying and family conflicts, but also distinguish illusion and reality in a world where true and false are intertwined. Finally, under Qin Suijin's protection and self-growth, he gathers his four characters and completes his soul, and reunites in the real world.
