Purpose: Using the dual time and space backgrounds of the Black Death in the 14th century and the COVID-19 epidemic in the 21st century, through the encounter between princess Anselin and the modern girl An Xi in a dream, we will explore how human beings can find "memory" and "hope" in disasters, loneliness and loss. The work uses "dream" as a medium to transform the emotional connection across time and space into thinking about "forgetting" and "remembering": Dreams symbolize the continuation of human collective memory, and also symbolize the individual's healing process in the face of pain.
