Jichen is an ordinary forensic sketch artist, but he is involved in a series of serial murder cases with strange techniques. He has a perfect alibi for each case, but all the clues point to him.
In order to clear his grievances, he was forced to step into the supernatural world hidden under the city to investigate the truth, but was horrified to discover that the elusive "murderer" seemed to be another part of his own body - a "shadow" with independent consciousness born from his forgotten childhood trauma.
While evading official pursuit and hunting by supernatural organizations, he must battle wits and courage with his own "shadow killer" to finally uncover the source of everything and complete self-salvation.
