"Yuanziya 1941" is based on real historical events. It tells the story of more than 300 villagers in Yuanziya Village, Junan County, Shandong Province in 1941. Faced with an iron wall surrounded by puppet troops for more than a thousand days, ordinary farmers built the unyielding Great Wall with their flesh and blood. Using a piece of "Anti-Japanese War Blood Book" to protect military rations as a clue, many heroic images such as village chief Lin Fanyi, district chief Feng Qiansan, and warrior Lin Jiulan are depicted. This is a tragic epic of farmers' spontaneous resistance, showing the lowest and most tenacious unyielding backbone of the Chinese nation.
Purpose: Yuanziya, the first village in China's anti-Japanese war, built an iron-walled monument with flesh and blood, demonstrating the national integrity of civilian heroes who would rather die than surrender and their unquenchable spiritual fire.
