Ryu Kitahara, whose parents have been divorced for many years, suddenly receives an invitation to his father's wedding. His father is marrying news program anchor Tamaki Aso.
At first he thought she was superficial, stupid, and only married his father for his money and status. So on the wedding day, he deliberately embarrassed her and mocked her for not being as good-looking as his mother, and the two of them had a falling out.
He originally thought that the two would never meet again, but a car accident took away his parents, and the fate of the two was forced to be intertwined.
-"Who wants to live with you? This is my dad's house."
-"In my name."
-"Why don't you hang your clothes to dry?"
-"These are your clothes, auntie."
He accidentally trampled on the brooch his father gave her, and when he saw her secretly wiping her tears, he couldn't bear it, so he skipped school and worked for two months to buy an identical brooch as a gift to her.
She seemed ungrateful, but when the news was broadcast the next day, the brooch was clearly visible on her collar.
She insisted on broadcasting real news and was fired for offending the TV station leader. He and Kubota accompanied her in interviews one after another.
His aunt finally came from the United States to take back custody of him, and she readily agreed. He was inexplicably frustrated, thinking that he was just a burden to her that delayed the date.
But who was running towards him in the waiting room with an ashtray, if not Aso Tamaki?
He never understood what he was thinking until a female classmate in his class asked Aso: "Ms. Aso, are you dating Kitahara-san?"
When he saw Aso's appearance, he finally understood.
"So the person you like is actually Ms. Aso, right?"
Intention: Uncle Kubota, you have no chance
