This is the story of three people who used their dignity, courage and conscience as weapons to find their destination.
Specifically, this is a fable about "self-salvation" and "soul awakening". It explores how, in a distorted environment, individuals awaken their inner conscience through profound collisions with others, muster the courage to face their fears, and ultimately defend their own and each other's dignity, completing the sublimation from "being defined by the outside world" to "self-definition".
Spotlight: Tendency to attack each other
"Be my lover."
This is not admiration, but the most cruel declaration of conquest by the winner (Xuan) against the old enemy (Qing). After completely defeating Qing, the endless void swallowed her up. She attempts to affirm her own existence in his unyielding dignity by imprisoning him and humiliating him.
Coercion does not result in submission, but in exchange for a mirror image.
Qing endured everything with silent tenacity. She began to lose control, her behavior swinging wildly between offense and concern. She discovered with horror that only Qing's fierce resistance could wake her up from the dream of power.
Betrayal stems from the fear of "weakness".
The deputy (Heng), a calculating realist, sees Xuan's struggles as a collapse of rationality and a fatal weakness. He resolutely launched a rebellion and put the blade on Qing's neck.
Sacrifice, a revolution directed towards the self.
In everyone's shock, Xuan made the most irrational choice: in order to save Qing, she voluntarily surrendered to Heng and handed over all her power.
