At the end of the Warring States Period, Qin garrison Hei Fu and Weaver Girl Zheng Su fell in love on Lancao Slope in Xianyang, but were forced to separate due to the battle against Chu. On the battlefield, he wrote a letter home "Winter clothes have not yet arrived" (i. E., The "Heifu Wooden Slip" discovered by archaeology) and asked his brothers Li Qu and Zhao Ye to deliver it to him. The lines are full of concern for his hometown and his lover.
After the unification of the Qin Dynasty, Heifu guarded Yunmengze and became ill due to overwork. Before his death, he hid ten years of family letters and diary wooden slips in a clay pot and buried them under an old locust tree. His last words were "Zheng Su, if there is an afterlife." In the troubled times of the late Qin Dynasty, Zhao Ye died in the Lishan battle to protect the pottery figurines containing orchid seeds, and Zheng Su hanged himself in the Xianyang weaving workshop. "When the morning light penetrated the window lattice of the weaving workshop, apprentice Xiao Tao discovered the unfinished lotus The brocade was covered with dew, and the stitches stopped at the 79th weft. Li Qu held the unsent lotus brocade tightly in his arms. Li Qu buried the two of them together with the wooden tablets on the banks of the Wei River. The unmarked tombstones bear witness to the joys and sorrows of the little man.
Thousands of years later, in 1975, Heifu's wooden tablets were unearthed from the Qin tomb in Shuihudi, Yunmeng, Hubei. Among the mottled wood grains, the embarrassment of "not wearing winter clothes", the forbearance of "not thinking about it", and the regret of "the next life" were revealed again. This wooden tablet, which has traveled two thousand years, is not only the earliest physical letter from home in China, but also an emotional link between ancient and modern times - allowing future generations to hear the eternal desire of ordinary people for love and peace in troubled times.
Purpose: "Qin Bamboo Slips: Heifu Wooden Slips" takes archaeological relics as the anchor, fills the historical gaps with literary imagination, and connects the troubled times from the Warring States Period to the Qin Dynasty through the love and destiny of small characters.
