On his way to escape, the wanted criminal Shen Ye rescued the geologist Gu Lin who was trapped by an avalanche in the blizzard wilderness. The two are forced to go together. One carries a bloody past and is used to talking to the world with a knife; the other has a dream of exploration and firmly believes that the truth is hidden in data and rock formations. Shen Ye's horse thief accomplices followed, and Gu Lin's scientific expedition team was also looking for his traces. In the tug of past and responsibility, they found that each other had become the only spark in each other's wasteland - Shen Ye blocked the fatal knife for Gu Lin, while Gu Lin used a geological hammer to break the ice to open a way for the injured. When the morning light pierced the dark clouds, they stood in front of the unmarked mineral veins, choosing to put down their shackles and let the wildness and rationality go to a distant place that no one knew.
