“Stop fighting. You’re all my pawns.”
Wen Yunzhou transmigrates into an ABO novel as a sickly Omega. The original owner is timid and useless, the perfect decorative spouse for a wealthy family’s political marriage.
On their wedding night, the top Alpha Lu Ci grips his chin and studies him. “Why does your pheromone smell bitter?”
The gentle, loyal assistant Rong Chuan swears to him, “I promise I’ll be loyal to you forever.”
The cool, dark-skinned Chu Wu approaches and asks in a low voice, “Are you the savior we’ve been waiting for?”
Wen Yunzhou lowers his eyes and smiles. Good.
One wants to study him, one wants to worship him, and one wants to use him.
They all think they’ve got the script for controlling him.
What they don’t know is that he has no idea how to carry out this so-called mission to save the world.
If they treat him like a pawn, they’d better be prepared to be used in return.
Lu Ci’s Chengming Institute wants to dissect him for experiments, so Wen Yunzhou uses Lu Ci to enter the highest-security instance.
Rong Chuan’s forces want to place him on an altar, so Wen Yunzhou goes along with it and accepts all their devout worship.
Chu Wu’s underground organization wants to use him as a key to another world, so Wen Yunzhou gladly takes the entire underworld as his intelligence network.
As the three factions fight tooth and nail over him, each convinced they can claim this sickly beauty for themselves,
The world on the brink of collapse, Wen Yunzhou toys with the lost relics he’s collected and gives those arrogant fools his first genuine smile.
“Don’t get the wrong idea.” He looks up, smiling mockingly. “I never planned to save the world.”
“What I want is to become a god in my own right.”

After the Great Silence sixty years ago, the first thing to disappear from the world was color.
The sky was shrouded in eternal gray and white, plants lost their vivid green, and the bright colors in people’s memories slowly faded to black and white.
Then came sound.
The sounds of nature evaporated overnight. The sounds made by people became distant and distorted.
September 7 of every year was even designated “Silent Day.” On that day, all sound disappeared.
Finally came memory.
People’s memories grew hazy and incomplete, and all historical records from before the Great Silence vanished.
The upheaval was accompanied by violent changes in the pheromone system. The pheromones of Alphas and Omegas grew unstable, out-of-control incidents became frequent, and social order collapsed.
To address the crisis, the Pheromone Stabilization Committee was established. In the name of science and order, it gradually took control of society and became the sole official organization: the Chengming Institute.
Thanks to the Chengming Institute’s efforts, society maintained an outward appearance of calm.
Beneath that calm, creatures called “Echoes” came into being, and strange domains descended upon the world.
People who wandered into Echo domains were horrified to discover that everything inside was bursting with life: vivid colors, lively sounds, as if nothing had ever been lost.

Reader’s guide:
1. An unconventional ABO setting. Pheromone scents are tied to the soul. There are many original worldbuilding details, but the basic conventions remain.
2. The Echo domains include mild horror elements, with a Lovecraftian feel.
3. Please note that the first twenty-three chapters were written a year ago. The protagonist is very weak at first and mostly talks a big game. Later, he starts using force to break through the domains. This is a growth story.
4. The story is entirely fictional. Please don’t associate it with reality.
