Late spring in Baishuangcheng is always rainy. There are shallow puddles on the bluestone road, reflecting the gray sky. The wine flag at Zuixian Tower in the east of the city was wet from the rain.
Sitting next to the window on the second floor was a young man in a blue shirt.
He was about seventeen or eighteen years old, with a simple long sword hanging on his waist, and the scabbard was engraved with fine cloud patterns. There was a pot of wine on the table, but he was not seen drinking it. He only looked out the window from time to time, as if waiting for someone.
"Xiao Er, have another pot of 'Apricot Blossom White'."
A clear voice came from the stairs. A young man in apricot-yellow clothes strode over, with a green jade flute tied around his waist, and water droplets dripping from his hair. He had obviously come all the way through the rain. He sat down opposite the boy in blue shirt, took off the wine gourd from his waist and handed it to the waiter: "Fill it up."
"Brother Chu is late." The boy in blue shirt said calmly, his fingers caressing the scabbard unconsciously.
"We encountered a little trouble on the road." The young man named Chu grinned, showing two tiger teeth, "Master Shen is so anxious to find me, could there be some clues about 'that matter'?"
