# Gleam and midsummer: a midsummer date about love, dreams and orange cats
Fang Zhiwei, a girl from City A, came to City B to find a friend and accidentally broke into the studio of painter Huang Yiyi. A cup of spilled coffee caused the coffee stains to turn into stars, which started the bond between the two.
From roommates with conflicting schedules, they became tacit partners, working together to create the "Grumpy Cat" and "Starry Orange Cat" IPs, overcoming problems such as color differences in factories, picky buyers, and piracy incidents. "Stealing masters" at comic exhibitions, working on manuscripts late at night, and sharing a bowl of instant noodles, the time is full of warmth.
By chance, they reunited with Huang Yiyi's old friend Lin Xiaoxia, and the three restarted the "Orange Cat Planet" project and launched a charity picture book to help rescue stray cats, spreading love and warmth across cities A and B.
From a rented apartment to a studio with a courtyard, from two people walking together to welcoming the baby Orange Summer, the smell of turpentine, mint candy, and the sweetness of orange cake are intertwined into a midsummer that will never fade away. Two black cats, Coal Ball and Mo Mo, accompany them throughout the whole process, witnessing the blooming of their dreams and lasting love, and writing a touching story about companionship, perseverance and eternity.
Concept: A story about getting to know each other, falling in love, and finally getting along.
