I, born in the 1980s, am a girl born in a very backward mountain village in Jiangxi. I have a younger brother. Although my family is poor, it is deeply influenced by the traditional feudal ideology that favors sons over daughters. I was not valued by my family. Of course, my own conditions were mediocre. However, my already defined destiny was reversed when my mother took me to study in a small city.
After moving to the city, our family was despised by our neighbors because of our poverty. We received a lot of looks from our neighbors. The lives of my brother and I also changed dramatically with the move. An unintentional compliment from the head teacher inspired me, who had always lived like an ugly duckling.
The road to study is always uneven, with all kinds of accidents and injustices, but I finally achieved my wish through stumbling, which can be regarded as a fulfillment of fate for me. I was living a willful life, but suddenly my mother's car accident happened, and my life changed drastically. I broke down countless times, cried countless times, and healed countless times. I slowly came out of depression and gained more understanding and tolerance for others.
In the intertwining of studies, job hunting, family, and love, I laughed, complained, cried, and suffered. Today, I gradually become calm and peaceful. In my spare time, I always reflect on why people live, how they live, what I missed, and how I would live if I could do it all over again.
In fact, life has no answers. It is all a process of experience and practice, and a gradual reconciliation with oneself. I also hope that sisters who are similarly confused can get inspiration from my story and avoid unnecessary detours.
Purpose: You are the first person responsible for your own life. No one should be responsible for your life, and you do not need to be responsible for other people's lives. In the end, only you can redeem yourself.
