Legend has it that the library at the end of the alley contains an "unfinished diary" from the last century. The owner of the diary is Shu He, a female student who suddenly disappeared 30 years ago.
Purpose: Resonating with "youth and regret": Using the excerpts from Shu He's diary in the summer of 1993 as an introduction, it connects the youth stories of two generations, implying "unspoken promises, unfulfilled wishes" and other youth regrets, and triggering readers' thinking about time and life choices.
