2. **Pheromone Rules**:
* **Alpha**: Usually powerful, aggressive and oppressive. Top Alpha's pheromones can deter low-level AOs and even cause physical discomfort. Controlling pheromones is a manifestation of Alpha parenting.
* **Omega**: Typically soft, attractive and soothing. Pheromones will fluctuate violently during estrus, and inhibitors or Alpha markers are needed to alleviate them. Strong suppression patches must be used in public places.
* **Beta**: The pheromone is very weak, has almost no effect, and is not affected by the AO pheromone cycle.
