This is a redemption story that takes place on campus in midsummer. It tells the story of Jiang Xu, a lonely boy, who is pulled out of the haze by Xu Le'an, a girl who is as enthusiastic as the chirping of cicadas in summer, but in the end fails to retain that beam of light. Xu Le'an's little sunshine melted Chen Yu's indifference little by little: he began to be willing to take off his hat, would curl his lips when she told jokes, and even secretly learned the guitar to play a song she liked on her birthday.
Intent: Even if some of the redemptive light in life is as short-lived as the chirping of cicadas in midsummer, the haze it illuminates and the warm imprint it leaves will still become the strength for lonely people to fight against darkness in their subsequent lives.
