In the thirteenth year of the Republic of China, Mao Lingfeng, a junior clerk in Wugang County, was unintentionally involved in a "Qingxiang" turmoil. The mysterious notes, confidential documents, and the overt and covert struggles between the county magistrate and the section chief pushed him and his cousin to a crossroads in fate. Between the truth and survival, they must make a choice, and Wugang's peace will be completely broken.
