Jiang He, a sophomore girl in high school, is a quiet sketch lover in the literary club. A sketch book contains all her secret love for the main player of the school basketball team, Cheng Wang - from the collision of fingertips when they first met in the library, to secretly drawing him practicing before reading in the morning, to recording his tenderness of saying "take your time" during interviews, every page is her heartbeat hidden in the corner.
This secret love became sour because of a misunderstanding: after the basketball finals, Jiang He saw Cheng Wan taking the scarves from other girls, so he deliberately avoided him and even stopped writing in his sketchbook. During the graduation season, she originally wanted to give the sketchbook as a gift, but in the end she only received an ordinary "Come on" from him, which ended in regret.
Many years later, Jiang He, who had become an illustrator, dug out the sketchbook returned by his deskmate and unexpectedly found a note signed by Cheng Wan inside. It turned out that although her feelings were unspoken, there was an unnoticed tenderness hidden inside. This unspoken youthful crush eventually became the softest imprint in her memory.
