It tells the story of a modern stone carving craftsman who travels to a world shrouded in darkness and ravaged by gods and demons. He relies on his skills to survive but accidentally activates the "Illustrated Book of Myths of All Realms". He carved stone statues of myths such as Sun Wukong and Nezha, and gained "influence value" by spreading stories to disabled villagers and abandoned people, redeeming the blood and skills of gods and Buddhas, and protecting the human race against the darkness.
