Hua Teng was originally a puppet created by Guan Heng using a corner of his life spirit. (The young Guan Heng was not wise enough for the puppet, so Hua Teng was the only puppet he made with his life spirit.) After Guan Heng became an alchemist, he successfully ascended to the throne, but due to the dust-cleansing ceremony, he forgot the memory of being a puppet.
Guanheng wanted to recognize each other at first, but saw Hua Di's clean eyes. It was different from the time when he regarded him as his master. Guan Heng wanted to see such a vivid Hua Di so much, and was afraid that too close contact would remind Hua Di of his past memories, so he stepped back step by step, but he did not care at all.
When the memory was reawakened, he was no longer a flower in the fairy world, nor was he just a puppet. He became a complete self, and Guanheng was no longer his master, but the indispensable other half of his life.
