"Suffering is Silent · Preface"
Suffering never makes a noise. It falls silently like dust, covering the weight of life layer by layer.
I always remind myself that when we look at the world, there are more lives walking in deeper abyss. In comparison, I am still the favored one by fate. The sinking of many people does not begin with the suffering itself, but with the abandonment and silence of oneself - they hand over the mirror to examine themselves and extinguish the fire to reshape themselves.
And I chose to lean over and look at the blurred reflection in the silent dust; I chose to reshape my own bones with my own hands under the weight of suffocation; I chose to build a sun of my own that did not rely on external light in the long dark night.
A person's growth lies not in what she has experienced, but in how she interprets and understands her experiences. I think I may be able to record these gradually blurred pasts in my lifetime. This may be a story about courage, sobriety and rebirth.
