Synopsis
[Introduction to the work] It tells the story of Gu Xi, a rational physicist, and Ling Yi, a special warrior with superior combat power, who are accidentally forced into a cruel infinite flow of doomsday world called "Abyss Corridor". Here, consciousness and sex are transmitted simultaneously, and death is the end. Faced with terrifying zombies that evolve every 24 hours, carefully designed environmental killings, and "scavenger" players who hunt their own kind in exchange for survival resources, the two of them went from being on guard as strangers to being forced to join hands, relying on the wisdom of "logic" and the power of "edge" to survive in the trial of blood and fire. Not only do they have to fight against endless deadly threats, but they also get deeper into the huge mystery behind the system and the test of human nature, questioning the meaning of life and bonds in the abyss of despair. Purpose: The purpose of this article is to explore the brilliance of human nature, the power of bonds and the dignity of life in the midst of absolute rational chaos and desperate survival situations. Through the extreme setting of "Corridor of the Abyss", it explores the following core levels: 1. Survival and human nature: Under the absolute pressure of "entity entering, death is the end", should you choose to survive by any means, or stick to the bottom line of human nature? The article explores the dialectical relationship between survival and human nature through the choices of different players (such as "Scavenger" and the protagonist group). 2. Order and Chaos: "System" represents a supreme and malicious rational order, while the doomsday environment is a symbol of chaos and destruction. The protagonists must not only use reason (Gu Xi's analysis) to find order (a way out) in chaos, but also fight against the inhumane, "orderly" cruelty of the system. 3. Cognition and existence: Is the world real or simulated? What is the meaning of "player"? They continue to pursue the truth behind the system, but in fact they are also questioning the meaning of their own existence, reflecting their philosophical thinking about "who am I" and "where am I". 4. Connection and loneliness: In the infinite and hostile reincarnation, the individual is alone. The transformation of Gu Xi and Ling Yi from strangers to trust, and the transformation of the team from dispersion to cohesion, demonstrate how the emotional connection between people (brotherhood, friendship, responsibility) can fight against emptiness and despair, becoming an important value beyond survival itself. Their ability to "resonate" is a symbol and sublimation of this connection. 5. Choice and responsibility: Faced with the manipulation of the system and difficult choices, the protagonists do not passively accept it, but actively make their own decisions (such as choosing to rescue others, choosing to fight against the "hunters", choosing to awaken the mother body) and bear the consequences. This shows that even in the most desperate situation, people still have the freedom to choose and the dignity to take responsibility. All in all, the purpose of this novel goes beyond simply defeating monsters and upgrading. It aims to explore, through the ultimate adventure story, whether and how human nature can shine through the most precious lights in civilization—reason, courage, trust, sacrifice, and love—under extreme circumstances. This is a hymn to the resilience of the human spirit that rings out from the abyss.
