When Hua Jiangchun settled in a water town in the south of the Yangtze River with his mother, a Pingtan artist, she met Gong Chaosheng, who was ordered by the family to take care of the dock business. When they first met, he was rescuing her from falling into the water. The awning boat and Yuxiang became the beginning of the bond between the two.
There are undercurrents surging within the Gong family.
