Introduction to "Starry Night"
When the school bully Qi Zhe, who is burning like the blazing sun, bumps into Chen Xing, a transfer student wrapped in ice, the story of the second (third) class of Lantau Middle School begins.
Qi Zhe, with a flamboyant smile, is the absolute king on the court, an action man, and believes in the direct rule of "get close if you like it". Chen Xing, cold and distant, the undefeated myth on the report card, observer, accustomed to using silence to build a safe distance.
An unexpected foot injury became an opportunity to break the ice. A "clumsy" joke, an umbrella held together in the rain, a piece of competition information compiled quietly... Qi Zhe used his fiery and clumsy way to penetrate Chen Xing's orderly world without rejection. On the other hand, Chen Xing, with a calm and self-possessed appearance, handed over a box of cold medicine, pushed past the draft paper filled with problem-solving ideas, and acquiesced to those "drop-in" and "accidental encounters."
Their stories don't stop on campus. It's the light and shadow that line up by the window of the library on weekends, it's the expectation of "inviting him to dinner" in Qi Zhe's noisy home, and it's also the corners of Chen Xing's lips that are slightly raised by a piece of news in his quiet apartment. They have their own independent spaces, but they overlap silently.
Surrounding them are Dai Guoming, the bluffing god-assist and bad friend, Nan Meng, the resolute but careful "Pepper" squad leader, Wang Xinyi, the quiet and hard-working study committee member, and the entire fresh and real class. In the cheers of the basketball game, in the struggle for the mid-term exam, and under the sunset after school on duty, they witnessed the collision and blending of ice and fire.
This is a story about melting and getting closer. How do two people who seem to be completely opposite to each other discover each other's unknown softness and tenacity in the noisy and stumbling daily life? How do they gradually adjust the frequency under a starry sky and find a resonance that only belongs to them.
Under the iceberg, there is warmth that is only for one person; under the scorching sun, there is gentleness that is reserved for only one person.
The star paths meet and the light shines upon each other. Their youth is at the right time.
