There are only two people in Cheng Jin's life, a mother and a younger brother.
My mother grew up in the fields all her life, and guarded the man's twenty-acre cotton field for the first half of her life. Cheng Jin was always placed in the shade of the field by her mother, sitting on the woven bag that her mother had spread on the land, with water and cattail fans beside her. The mother used both hands, pinching and lifting, with skillful and quick techniques. Cheng Jin yelled for help, but his mother always shook her head with red eyes.
In the second half of her life, my mother returned to her parents' home, picked up the few acres of land at home and planted grapes. Standing cut, mother seems to know everything.
My mother, who was not enthusiastic about the land, always stayed there, bending over, wiping sweat, looking at the blue sky, but failed to get out.
His younger brother was brought back by his mother, who was always anxious and frightened by this sudden life, and even sobbed in the middle of the night. For the sake of his mother, he thought of throwing him away. But he didn't go far before he came back and picked him up.
Cheng Jin named him Cheng Che for no other purpose. His mother was illiterate, and his own purpose was just to let others know about the relationship between the two.
Things are getting better and better, but it seems like everyone and everything is working against them.
That day, a summer day that was no different from any other day, a man whom Cheng Jin didn't know barged into his home and took away Cheng Che, who was crying and trembling all over. Even the home he had finally put together was torn apart.
When they met again, Cheng Jin treated him as a stranger and didn't want to have anything to do with him. Later, maybe I was too arrogant and felt that nothing would change if I got involved.
Purpose: Living a good life is more important than anything else
