"Long Yin's Past" takes the perspective of Zhou Wang Jin (later known as Zi Yin) and tells the story of her and Chu Qingcheng's bond across time and war, as well as their ups and downs in their half-life. The story begins in Xuyin. Zhou Wang Jin met the maverick Chu Qingcheng for the first time, and his initial contempt turned to curiosity. After getting along many times in the Old City Villa, he was attracted by Qingcheng's transparent and indifferent character. The two formed a deep friendship. Zhou Wang Jin even spent a huge sum of money to take pictures of ancient paintings and give them to him. Qingcheng also gave Zhou Wang Jin the Chinese character "Zi Yin" and taught him how to carve seals.
After the war broke out, Qingcheng left with his father, and King Jin of Zhou was involved in the troubled times. He experienced family changes, planned an air crash in order to seize power, and later led the army to fight, established the Afigat Federation and became the president. After taking power, he persistently searched for Qingcheng, only to learn that Qingcheng suffered bereavement during the war and eventually died of illness. His wife and children also died due to the war.
After half a lifetime of conquests and losses, King Jin of Zhou gave up his power and returned to Miluo, where he had warm memories of his first encounter with Qingcheng and Grandpa Mu. He finally passed away in peace. His last wish was to be with Grandpa Mu and guard the memories related to Qingcheng, ending a life full of regrets and obsessions.
Purpose: Based on the protagonist's half-life pursuit and final return, it explores the preciousness of peace and people's persistence in their original intentions and warmth in troubled times.
